STS 2007 Fogs

The 2007 STS fogs will still fit on the 06 CTS or am I wrong. If they do fit I plan on just taking off the front wheels because this looks like the easiest and most mobile position. How long do you think changing these out will take me? And from a 1-10 how hard is it to do.

The pictures below are the fogs I will be purchasing, let me know guys. Thanks in advance

Oh yeah Posted the picture because i wanted to know if these were the similar (or look correct) to the Sts fogs you fine cadillac fellows put in.

I believe it should the STS-V fogs. Someone will be along shortly with the answer...

I think these are the "V' fogs. On the normal sts the fogs look separated on this it looks like one whole piece.

im sure you can make them work and they look better than the sts-v fogs anyway IMO I like the clear better than the white/grey look of the sts-v ones

and you get PROJECTORS!!!!!!! so then u can put hid's in your fogs and it will look hot hot hot!!!!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I was thinking of putting projectors in mine but i got lazy

Blackillac09--check with Luke on the Lindsay Cadillac board. He's a parts guy and can tell you definitively if they will fit. Good luck.

I think the mounting brackets are different then sts-v fogs, but with time, you could probably find a way to mount them in.

The Sts-v Foglights are the one you could just mount in your oem cts fog housing.

So I guess the conclusion is that this will not fit on a CTS because the mounting brackets are different.

yes but if you are handy i am sure u could find a way anyway if you dont want to do alot of work though dont buy these

they will not fit the mounting bracket of the cts

Well I am just trying to figure out ANYWAY these things could fit. I am wondering if the lights might even be to big for the hole in the bumper that the stocks shine through.

I was thinking about doin that with those lights....you can do it with some modification....shouldnt actually be too hard either, just get creative. Yes the lights are too long, but it doesnt matter it will still work......

My worries:

1. The plugs that actually plug into the light will not fit.

2. The lights will be longer so that the heat from the lights could untimately damage my bumper.

ehhhh screw it, it wont work but the price was just so tempting to even think about.

If you make your own mounting brackets (hard) and do some cutting on the inside of the bumper, they will fit. i do not know about the power plug and if it will even work with that fixture.

does anyone have a pic of these fogs and the 05 fog bracket? and also the plugs on them? if all that would have to be done is change the brackets,then id definatly think about getting these for my 05.im going to get hids for my fogs next week,but i REALY WANT projectors on them as well.

Those are not STS Fogs. It would have a seperating bar between. I think those are SRX fogs. You want the STS-V Fogs/DRLs or WW's Lens replacements.
