Go to your dealer's parts department tell them what it is you need and have them give you a price quote with part numbers. Take those part numbers home to your computer and go to and enter the part numbers and see the price you can get it from them. Usually about half the price of the dealer. An example, I had driver front wheel bearing going bad on my '97, since it's a sealed bearing you have to order complete front hub. Got part number and price from dealer, they wanted $400. I got the part from gmpartsdirect for $180 plus shipping.
