Greets,

Alas, pothole season got me this year and one of my front strut bearings is creaking away on slow turns. My question is should I just replace the bearing or am I better off replacing the entire mount?

Thanks,

The Deville ?? Don't forget to diagnose the slide coupling for the Intermediate Steering Shaft. Well known for creaks and groans.

Intermediate shaft makes noises and feels funny down by your feet - strut bearings are "higher up" in the dash ends.

Inside the car the noise comes from right in front of the glovebox and outside the car it comes from the top of the strut, so I think that's where the problem is. Back to my question, whole mount or just the bearing?
