Stop the chimes

Can someone tell me what setting I need to go to so that when I remove my key from ignition and open the drivers door I can stop the chimes from ringing.

I would like them to ring only if I am exiting the car and I leave my key inthe ignition.
I can't seem to get it right. Appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Double check to make sure your lights are not in the permanently on position.

Thank you. That did solve the problem. I was thinking I had something programmed wrong in my settings.
Even though I do always drive with my lights on, I will just turn them on manually each time.

Glad to help. You also could just set them on "Auto". That should solve the problem as well - but lights will only go on in darker light conditions.

you can program your lights to go on all the time, and still be in the auto position. The default for "auto" is "parade lighting" which is the yellow front runners, but in the GPS you can program for full daytime headlights.
