Stop me from wanting guys...

So I was searching Craigslist for parts to fix my 98 and came across this...
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/1097353492.html
Totally reminds me of my 1969 Camaro which I miss so damn much...
Now I'm reconsiderign my decision to save the Z.
Course I could always take the check for the Z, buy this 69 and fix them both myself rather than leaving it up to the dealer to fix the 98 alone.
Seems like a nice buy, what do you guys think?
Of course I already have the 74 scheduled for some much overdo work, but I really like F-Bodies...

From one F-Body guy to another:
slow your role, cowboy.
You don't need 21 cars at 21.
lol
i had all at the same time:
1997 Eldorado ETC
1983 Pontiac Trans AM Daytona 500
1974 Eldo Vert
and
1978 Ford Mustang Ghia II

owning 4 cars at once is nothing new to me lol
right now i just own 3...
To me that would be an easy choice......take the check from the insurance company on the Z, even with the money you put under the hood you're still coming out in very nice shape there, and open up a new savings acct, dump that insurance check in it and go and buy the 'bird. Figure that the insurance check is supposed to get it into at least a decent looking and running shape, then you can start doing the fun stuff with the extra, or slowly accumulate money for the larger mods you'd like to make on it. You've got the STS and the Eldo for driving in the meantime, the Firebird would be a sweet project car, doesn't look to have too much cancer on it, and would be a fun driver when you got done with it.

I was going down a similar path only looking for a late 60's Camaro or Chevelle until I lost oil pressure at 80 mph in my '95 Blazer (RIP) and bought my STS a month later. I'd like to get back to searching for the right late 60's muscle as a project car, however my next purchase is likely going to be a house with a large garage to allow the future project car....so until then I'm trying to save.

Yuck, you don't want that... it's a Pontiac!
I bought a 78 bird for under 3k last summer. Significantly better condition than the above bird. Those cars can be had for pennies nowadays.
This thread title... It's just too easy.
I am out of the loop, what happened to your Z28?
yea but 69
so much potential...
i think TA clone car...
or buy 69 Camaro body parts and turn it into a Camaro
he wants guys?
Hey, on this forum we accept people of all races, genders, and sexual orientations. :D

When did you get a Marauder??
When did you get a Marauder??
SO MUCH CONFUSION IN THIS THREAD!

Yes... When did you get Marauder.
Damn I still thought he had that Dark Cherry '93 Fleetwood?
Marauder was purchased last week. '03 with 55K miles.

Are you building a track car or doing a resto job? If you want a track car, keep the Z28. If you want a show car, get the '69.
My sister has a '69 Firebird 350, same color as that one, but in much better shape:

I inspected a '69 Firebird, also that same color, for a buyer's service last summer, and it was a great driver. Very responsive engine, good ride and handling for its era.

Even if you do nothing with that one, it's likely to increase in value, simply because there aren't as many first-generation Firebirds as there are Camaros. But I would definitely do a thorough inspection, including getting it up on a lift, to check for rust before spending that insurance check.

Oh, and not to go all grammar police on you, but a comma would have saved you from a lot of razzing.
