Stoneage_Caddy,

I just got a NOS hood ornament, NOS trunk lock cover and NOS 2 illuminated sail panel emblems off ebay. When they burn out, I will convert to LED as suggested by you. Hopefully Ed Morse will have clips to hold them on.

However, I found that they are bigger than the current emblems. I was wondering if you could measure the diameter of the wreath on yours that goes around them so I can get some the right size.

Just a heads up, the larger wreaths (at least the ones made to go with the lighted crests you have) have mounting pins, and are not self adhesive. I suppose you could use a dremel with cutoff disc to flush cut the pins and then use emblem tape to mount them if you don't want to drill the holes.

Then again, there may be properly sized wreaths that are self adhesive that were made for some other application other than the 90-93 Deville/Fleetwood/60 Spec. Probably need to bug a dealer parts guy to see about this.

That is what I was planning on doing. It will probably be a while before I am able to get them off ebay. That is my only source. The local junkyard does not want to go out to just look for a pair of wreaths. They have several u-pull it types but I am unable to walk around that long and do not want to take my scooter out there for fear of a flat. Hard to get my scooter to go in sand.:banghead:

No access to a dealer? If cost is the concern, I bought a pair of these a while back for my mom's old car which had the lighted crests, think they were about $22.00 each, not too bad really. That was for chrome of course, gold will probably be outrageous if that's what you need.

You could get on gmpartsdirect.com or such and get them shipped for less than that. Only thing there is that you will probably have to email them to sort out the part #'s. Their online parts callout sheets are a bit lacking at times.

Yeah, I have access to a dealer. Ed Morse Cadillac - the best in Florida.
I have to get a clip for the lights and elec connectors for them to. Then it is drill and dremmel time. Lets have fun :stirpot:

Thanks for the input.

powerglide,

That is a Vogue Radar Detector (Cadar) manufactured in Jacksonville, FL back in the 80's especially for Cadillac. It comes with a beautiful box, soft bag like the ones Crown Royal came in and a 14 page owners manual. It fits in the dome light. Only operates on X & K band, but were are going for being complete - not the newest technology. Back then Caddy owners paid $499.95 for them. I had obtained some out of PA, NIB and put some of them on ebay.

Stoney,

Well, how's that for irony? My 94 Concours, which I got just a few months ago, is from Ed Morse. I have the original sticker and even the envelope the paperwork came in. And, the Ed Morse gold keychain, with a name engraved on the bottom,. Dean M...was that a salesman or owner of the car?

The car is now in North Joisey, and it runs like a champ, damn near mint condition too.

PS, I am also on the lookout for them illuminated emblems, was waiting for a member on here to send them to me, but it seem like that isn't coming to fruition for some reason, Oh well, if you know of any, could you holler?
