Stereo question: iPod in?

Hey gang,

Love my new '05 CTS-V. I'm sorta kicking myself for getting an 8 year, 100k mile warranty now that I see all the awesome mods. Especially the blowers. One can never have too much power, no?

But my question is a bit more mundane: how can I get an AUX IN to the stereo? I refuse to consider an FM transmitter, I MUST have a line in to hook up my ipod to.

Has anyone cracked one of these things out and looked in back to see if there is any way to get this done easily? I fear that with a changer that is in-dash, there may be no way to get this done easily.

Nothing in the FAQ, though this thread looks like there is something on the way:

But to date, is there a working solution other than going the awful-sounding FM route?
Thanks!

Check out the cadillac FAQ's:

You just need to purchase a PAC audio adapter (approx. $30-$40). It jumps an aux input via the XM system. I have it and it works great. The only down side is that you have to install a manual switch somewhere along with the cable. I put my switch in the ash tray so you don't see it unless it is open. Flip the switch while in XM 1 mode and the output is to the MP3 player.

I have my cable on the floor with enough length to sit the IPOD in the cupholder. If you want pictures, let me know and I'll send them to you direct so as not to suck up bandwidth on this site...
