I love Winter.

if it's very cold out, wel anything below 50*F, actually, when I turn my steering wheel it squeaks at certain points. The FSM says it needs some lubrication, which requires me to remove the steering wheel.

well it's cold, I don't have the tool (or a garage), and I'm afraid to ask the dealer just yet how much they'd do it for.

Would it do any damage if I sprayed white lithium grease into the gap between the steering wheel back and the column?

If i'm going to pay the dealer to take off my steering wheel, i would rather wait until i've ordered my new one + the new steering control buttons because mine are worn and not so pretty looking anymore so they can put them on at the same time.
