Hungry Pit Bull in front seat?:hide: What is the reason for the lock? I assume theft? Do you have a factory alarm or aftermarket?
factory alarm yes but just looking for another deterrent. .
I tried one of those once. Biggest PITA ever and really not worth it. If a thief wants to steal your truck they will. I can have a steering wheel off the truck in under 5 minutes. Airbag literally pops out with 2 clips in the back, and then 1 large nut holds the wheel on. Replacement steering wheels can be had for as low as $10.

If a thief wants your truck, they will see it has that goofy lock and plan accordingly when they come back, if they don't have the basic tools already.
Good point thanks, but what about those locks that cover the entire steering wheel?..
Even something as basic as a club is a deterrent and you cant get the airbag off with that bar in the way, yes if they want "your" truck then you'd better have a good policy but if its something general they're looking for your truck could be skipped for the hassle, all depends on the thief and his training
Hey where do you even live lol ????? Like why so much security is your area bad sh*t one time I even left my dads lambo unlocked and everything was still there when I accidentlly left the car at school and everything was still there? Why so much security but I agree to the pitbulls Idea nobody gets near the lambo when I take my Pitt with me
Truth be told at least 100 escalades will be stolen by the the time someone tugs on if they can even finds the door handle on a lambo lol
It's like a regular door handle you just find the door handle line and push and it will come out and you pull simple as that
Basically my point is you can park a locked escalade in the best neighborhoods vs an unlocked lambo in the worst and escalade will be gone first in response to your what kinda neighborhood do you live in question
Well haha right now I'm in South Carolina away from my parents but where I'm at is in debordiu but it's got security but well it's cuz you people think that's because it's a super expensive car it's gonna have some futuristic security system that call 911 the army and let's starving pitbulls out the trunk lol no it's just like a regular car well the gallardo that is haha
Lol they are all just regular cars or trucks
You ever rode in a lambo ? Or any super car?
Yes back in the day worked at an exotic car rental in beverly hills delivering and picking up various exotics from various celebrity homes or hotels.... you were probably about 6 and my dad was a porsche mechanic with a shop for many years
Woah that's awesome I'm jealous haha idk but super cars are like art well even from a 15 year olds view I think they are just works of art from the sound when they turn on to the delicately hand crafter interiors but woah I'm jealous haha

What's your favorite car?????
After market alarm ( Viper ), 2 way remote with feedback, Smart Start app on your smartphone. Works with factory alarm. Saved my truck at Great Adventure. Knuckleheads popped door lock and turned it with a screw driver or any key. They thought it would shut off the factory alarm since this is another way to turn off your factory alarm, just unlock with your key. They had no idea I had the Viper system. Sent me a page on smart phone, they ran off, they could not get the horn to stop honking..... They had no "quick way" to turn it off in a busy parking lot.... Saved my 100K truck!
Even something as basic as a club is a deterrent and you cant get the airbag off with that bar in the way, yes if they want "your" truck then you'd better have a good policy but if its something general they're looking for your truck could be skipped for the hassle, all depends on the thief and his training
Yup, that's my philosophy.

Just make it harder, more time consuming for a thief and he'll likely move on to one that is less work for him. You'll save your truck from all but determined thieves this way.
