Steering Wheel Lock

Does anyone here use a steering wheel lock (ie: The Club, etc) on their Escalade?

I currently have The Club LX, but looking to upgrade to the Gorilla Grip 3 (with remote alarm). Is this overkill with the Viper alarm system?
