Right off the top of my head I would suspect that you lost the ground to the switches. It is located in the reciprical unit at the base of the wheel. Problem is you need to remove the airbag to make the repair.falconeo said:

This buttons on the dash for these same steering wheel controls do work; its only the steering wheel controls that are not. I believe I checked all fuses related to this area; cluster fuse in the trunk compartment, all are fine. My next step will be to inspect the entire steering wheel column for possible fuses or disconnected wires... Has anybody had this problem? I'll greatly appreciate the help.

In my state, my city, my area, the average Joe, the average mechanic, the average dealership is NOT allowed to remove and replace a supplimental restraint. It is a government job....yup!, you need a specialist!falconeo said:Thank for the quick reply. The control lights still light up. I think they stopped worked after hitting a serious pot hole; which makes sense with the "losing ground to switch" possibility. How do you remove the airbag to get to this?
