I had a similar problem years ago. The diaphragm inside the fuel pressure regular had blown. I replaced the FPR and that resolved it.
First time in 2007 I did it myself in an hour or two. I believe I recall disassembling the top of the throttle body. Second time I had my mechanic do it for $250-ish.How much of a pain in the ass was it to replace?
