I have just finished reinstalling the engine in a 98 Seville STS and want to start an run it to check for leaks and top off fluids. Can I do this without hooking the air bags up again?

I didn't know if there is some sort of electrical interlock that would prevent it from starting if they are
disabled. Fuse was first thinks I removed after the back seat.

What part of removing the engine necessitated disconnecting the airbags? :hmm:

He probably meant just disabling the airbag system. I believe it's on the service manual to disable airbags before any repair.
