So Santa brought me a new car for Christmas. It's got the OEM staggered wheel/tire performance package, and I'm thinking about an upgrade.

Stock is F 235/50/R18 and R 265/45/R18. I'd like to jump up to 20's (maybe off a Camaro), but I'm seeing some various horror stories about the importance of maintaining the stock tire diameter and revolutions per mile. If I do the math to try to maintain all the numbers, the 20" tire sizes are either not available or prohibitively expensive (not to mention limited in options).

On the other hand, I see many people with AWD vehicles who seem to be running mismatched (according to the math) sizes and not seeming to have issues.

Can someone smarter than me weigh in on this topic? Or have suggested tire sizes for 20" wheels?

245/35/20 front 285/30/20 rears get you perfect matchup

Thanks for the feedback. I checked those sizes compared to stock, and it shows the rear actually gets slightly smaller in diameter than the front. Have you run these without issue? Maybe the scaling is not so critical as I was thinking.

I have had zero issues. The tire sizer tools are just a starting point because going from brand to brand and even model to model will have slight variations

What sorcery is this?! Why did you switch to RWD?
because one of my front tire had bad inner alignment, so I had to buy 2 news tires, but my tire was potenza re760 -and Bridgestone discontinued the re760 . My back tire was almost new ,I didn’t want to change all 4 tire. So i bought 2 new continental for front and I removed the awd fuse to keep my transfer case safe.

If I ever run a staggered wheel and tire setup, it'll be during the summer and the fuse will be pulled till winter when I swap wheels

Wheel fitment 2011 AWD Coupe

Hello. I was wondering if anyone is running 20x9 et35 in the front with 20x10.5 et35 in the rear???? Almost all the posts i've searched guys are running 20x10.5 et27 in the rear. Problem for me is, the rims I want only come in 20x10.5 et35.

Merged a couple threads together. Wheels can be a performance mod or an appearance mod, so I flipped a coin and put the merged thread in the Appearance Mods forum. :)

Re: Wheel fitment 2011 AWD Coupe

So I just bit the bullet and put a set of Camaro wheels on my coupe. I'm running 20x8.5 et 35 up front and 20x9.5 et35 in the rear. Looks awesome and fits well. A 10.5 ET35 rear might start to have an issue with hitting suspension stuff, but I'm not an expert.

I was surprised that those were 35 series in the rear but with a 275 on a 11.5 he probably wanted a hair more sidewall. I was more curious of the offsets, I'm guessing hes in the 35-38 front and 25-28 in the rear. I know its not for everyone but I like it! Appreciate the fast response!
