Squeaks, everything squeaks, wtf is this new one?

Chair squeaks when it rubs against center arm rest, door panel squeaks when knee touches it, door panel squeaks when I rest my elbow on it, I haven't even complained about these because this car is such a shitter and they can't fix anything right.

Anyway, I have no idea what this new squeak is, it is intermittent, and every time I take the ****er in of course they can't reproduce it so it doesn't get fixed, but it comes back the next day, been over 2 months like this.

I've had my share of squeaks and rattles with my 2013 ATS Performance 2T, the ongoing one is a rattle in the steering column that can never be replicated. The intermittent ones are so hard to troubleshoot.

Your best bet is to find a stretch of road that's near the dealership where the sounds always happen, go to the dealership and ask your service advisor and a technician to ride in the car with you as you drive that stretch. When they hear it with you, then they can troubleshoot and make the fixes.

Anyone have any idea as to what it might be? Heard it before on any kind of car? Taking it back in tomorrow, it's a terrible noise listening to it on long road trips. Dealer has done work on the steering column twice, told them I doubt it's the steering column since the noise is the exact same on the passenger side too.

My only squeak in my ATS performance is where the chair sometimes rubs against the center arm rest. It's barely noticeable. It irritates me when I am sitting looking at my phone with the engine, radio, etc. off. While driving I don't notice it. Everything rise with about 8,800 miles is tight as a drum.
Sorry I don't know the origin of that particular rattle, but in my experience the door panel squeak problems can be fixed. I think they use new clips that are Teflon coated or similar, I recall reading once. Good luck.

Were you able to figure out what this noise is? I have the same one from the passenger side.

Having this problem too. Couldn't find where it's coming from either. I'll update once I find out.
Any updates on this?
Did the dealer find out what part it is?
My issue turned out to be the position the seat was in. I believe the seat was rubbing against something and causing the noise, as soon as I changed the seat position it seemed the noise was eliminated.

Yeah, but can you still reach the pedals? ;)
This!
For me it was the loose plastic cover on the front bottom of the passenger seat. Hold it in place and see if that helps.
Just took mb1096 to say seat lol

I used leather conditioner on the bolstering where it rubs against the A pillar and center console and it helped quite a bit. Just a recommendation for anyone with this issue
Interestingly only the passenger side bolster squeaks on mine. If I slide my ebow/forearm off the center console and press the bolster towards the passenger door it stops usually for the duration of the trip.

All other rattles/squeaks are DIY only. Dealer will never find them. Have someone else replicate the conditions for you (road/speed etc) so you can climb around the car and aural-locate the noise.
