Taken from www.sqplus.com;
"This Escalade features many modifications including a full body kit, supercharger, airbags and 26 inch rims. The install requires a total re-design and rebuild of the interior and utilises many items of home A/V equipment such as full Crestron touchscreen automation and an audio server with wireless networking. There are two audio system options within the car - a show system which has all guns blazing, and a pure SQ system using just 1 pair of Dynaudio System 240 Esotar components and 2 x 8 inch Diamond subs in the front centre console. Each system has its own EQ, etc. The audio equipment consists of 8 x Diamond D9 amps, 4 x 15in Diamond D9 subs, 7 sets of Dynaudio components and much, much more."

Thats dumb. Why would you put FORD air vents?! That front body kit is super ugly!! The interior is all wrong and the system in the back is terribly designed. No props on this one. Although, those rims are clean if the tires had a smaller sidewall on them!

I think it's great. And its about time somone uses plexy-glass properly! 99.9% of boxes with plexy look like they were put toegther by 7 year olds with some lego experience.

You didnt show us the best link, which shows the quality and precision that went into this truck: http://sqplus.com/install.html?carID=74

Not many shops can do an extreme build like this, and the ones that attempt to, their shit falls apart. Like west coast customs, they build the crappiest, most unreliable builds I have ever seen, but try to tell that to their die hard fans who think a TV show is enough proof.

Most people will hate on you anyway, especialy when they see something that is much more detailed then their ride, but the hate comes with such an extree build, but who cares!

Cheers for your comments mikeee.

I understand that the styling may not be to everyone's taste, and especially the taste difference between UK & US.. But I just thought I'd show what we're getting upto over here.

In regards to Synergetic's comments about the tyres, you need to see the roads over here, to appreciate that even these tyres are risking it! Besides, there's not many people running such large rims over here, so allthough they aren't the smallest sidewall available, they still manage to impress people.

Again, back to the styling, It's certainly not the nicest kit around (and I don't like the front end either), but the customer loves it, and that's all that matters to us! With Escalades not being quite so common over here, there's not much to choose from when it comes to styling.

The A/V system is where the vehicle really shines.... To start with, most of the standard functions of the vehicle have been intergrated into the touch screen system, which has custom designed menus. For example, the windows, mirrors, lights, wipers are all controlled via the touchscreen. All the standard switchgear has been relocated to the centre console as a fallback. This allows for a much cleaner look to the dash & doors.
The dash houses another 2 monitors for the driver & passenger, and the rear passengers have headrest screens. There is also a 15" screen in the tailgate for show folk.

Nothing to this level has been done in the UK up until now (especially for a customer!). And allthough mikeee made reference to WWC, none of the work is sub-standard! I'm not dogging WCC, as I haven't seen/experienced any of their work, but I can understand what people mean, as we have several big named companies over here that don't quite cut it!

p.s. another recently completed car was this: http://sqplus.com/install.html?carID=79

It is the SQPLus demo car, and was sponsored (amongst others) by Alpine UK. It was designed with the Alpine demo car's in mind, and Phil (co-owner of SQPlus) has worked closely with Steve Brown on a number of occasions.

Here's a link to the Alpine press release for the car: http://www.alpine-europe.com/content/english/a2218.det.SQ-Plus-of-Manchester--UK-launched-their-new-demo-car-at-Max-Power-Live_and-won-car-of-the-show%21.htm

Well.... I like that you guys got creative with it, but don't understand why you would make the dash look a spacecraft. I like the center console however with the speakers and monitors throughout the middle. You made the system fit well behind the 2nd row, but why with all that room from taking out the 3rd row make a poor layout for the system. Looks like budget was high for the entire car till you got to laying out the system. I don't like the bodykit. The black leather is cool and is nice to see that someone actually did put black interior in an Escalade. Those rims are BADASS though, nice choice on that. Wasn't familar with the roads over there, so excuse my comment on the tires, thats understandable now.

This is just MY opinion!

I apreciate your comments/opinion, and am thankfull that you took the time to explain them :)

From what I understand, the owner was not keen on the stock dash, and wanted something bespoke. The dash was desined around the equipment, and I believe was constructed symetrically to aid SQ.

After removing the 3rd row, the space was mostly taken up with box volume for the 4 15" subs, there's also the motorised amp rack which (4 amps in that), then there's another 4 amps in the side panels & behind the sub boxes. A lot of space is also taken up by the Crestron system & all its corresponding relays. To add to that, there's also an audio server & a home tuner packed in there. Allthough it may not look it, it is well packed in behind there.. and allthough it looks like the budget was low on that part, it's probably the oposite.

The pics don't really do the install justice! In the first pic, you can just make out the triangles infront of the subs.. these light up blue, and are also in the side panels, and in the doors. They are plexiglass inserts, lit from beneath, but trimmed in speaker grille material. There's also a row of blue LED's top & bottom of the lips that hang over the subs. When its all lit up, and the colours hit the chrome on the back of the subs, and the pearl in the paint, it looks schweet... but gotta bee seen in the flesh

I do agree with you about the front bumper, but I do have a soft spot for the exhaust system (why do the stock ones exit at the side?)

No worries about the tyres... In an ideal world, our roads wouldn't be so crap.. but that would mean the tax money getting spent properly!! I think I should just move over there!! :bouncy: (If only!!:crybaby: )

Anyway, thanks again for going into more detail... And nice Esc' you've got yourself there!!
