Looking at all the pictures posted it looks like the sport is outselling the luxury version. Is there any difference between the two other than black vs chrome trim and a different grille? Personally I strongly prefer the chrome but I am wondering if I might be missing some other difference. Assume they both have the same performance features. Thanks for your help.

I was always a chrome guy. Then, about three months ago, I blew a tire on my CT-6, and had the spare tire on for a few days. The spare wheel is totally black.
I loved the black-on-black look on my CT-6.
Lo and behold, I placed on order for a Platinum Sport Escalade with the Onyx package.
Our CT-6 is also a Sport, so the two cars will look nice together in the driveway.
Perhaps my chrome days are over!
