How do I adjust the speedometer on my 2011 Platinum to read correctly after going from the stock 22's to 26 inch rims? Thanks

Not to change the subject, but how do you like the dark carpet in your 11?? How does it ride now?

What size tires did you use? I have 26's but the overall diameter is close to stock so no speedo adjustment was needed. It can be adjusted with a Predator tuner, of the dealer can do it to, but it's not the rim size, it's the tire size that is important. :)

How off is your speedo?
Tirerack says 305/30/26 is the correct size, but with that size tire the speedo will be 3.4% off.

Tire Size Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
285/45-22 5.0in 16.0in 32.1in 100.8in 628 0.0%
305/30-26 3.6in 16.6in 33.2in 104.3in 607 3.4%

Your car will also have more miles on it then it really shows on the mileage gauge.

The Platinum's interior is awesome to answer the first question. The dark carpet is infinitely better looking than the previous beige/linen color. The ride is no different than any other escalade except for having 22 inch rims which makes it slightly rougher. The surprise of this car for me was how noisy it is. They are far louder in the cabin than any Cadillac should be IMO. Good to hear about the Predator. I just ordered one and had no idea it could make the adjustment for me. Can you tell me how that's done exactly?

If the overall diameter is bigger wont that equate to less milage?

As said the 26's are larger, at 60 mpg with the 26's your speedo will read 58 mph a speedo difference of 3.447%, it will not hurt to leave this alone, and as said the Preditor can change tire diameter in the computer

The car will have more actual miles on it then the odometer shows.

For each turn of the wheel the car thinks it is going X distance, but the car is really going X+ something.

With you changing to 26 do your front tires stick out any. For some reason my front stick out and my back is flush. I have 305/30/26, was wondering if i go with a 295/30/26 if this would help.
