Hey I would appreciate it if someone could tell me about the radio and speaker system in the 99 devilles. I have a problem because all my speakers work, except the rear passenger door speakers. Neither side works, and I thought there would be a fuse for it but there isn't and I can't figure it out. Maybe the speakers are blow, but they still would make a little noise, these speakers are dead quiet. Plus, both speakers right across from each other broke? I was thinking maybe the wires near the head unit, but I don't know. I don't want to pull the radio out because I'm not that good at it and mess more things up. I refuse to go to the dealership for anything. I'll do it myself, i just don't want to go at it blind not knowing what to look for. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Do the speakers in the rear deck work? If it's like my car (1998 Deville) I have 11 speakers total, one in the dash, 2 in each front door, 2 in each rear door and 2 in the rear deck. My radios fader when in the Rear position sends sound to the rear doors and rear deck and in the front it's the front doors and dash. If you get sound in the back deck then I'd look at a loose wire either at the head unit or at the speakers... but seeing as how it's both sides that's a little odd... :hmm: These cars seems to have very complex stereo systems for who knows what reason, the old fashioned kind where you have at best 8 speakers (including tweeters with crossovers) worked fine. My sister has a honda with 6 speakers 2 of which are tweeters and for her model it's the top of the line. I know Caddy's are all about luxury but how many 70 year old men (the range I belive GM targets with these cars) care about 11 speakers?
