Hey guys, i know i promised these like 5 days ago, but i have had so much going on.. Went to Lousiana, outside of Slidell & Metarie where my wife's brother & aunt lives, or used to live i rather say.. I helped them gather what was left.. It was a mess, total devastation, brings back way to many sad days in Florida, like after Ivan & many others...

Anyway, i got it finally on, had to do a little changes so that things matched up ok... This was part of the deal. I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN AND HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE UNDERSTOOD. This is a PROTOTYPE and had to be fitted differently & measurements where taken and passed back to VOLANT so the next batch will be perfected. As with Volant, it is excellent! the air flow is massive, the launch of my v is like a rocketship with the air that i get now... it has dropped the air intake temps way down.. im going to stick a monitor in there tomorrow, so i will let you know exactly how much cooler versus outside air.. now that will vary of course depending on where you live, altitude, temps, and so on...

Anyway, hope you enjoy.. As soon as i have more info i will let you know.

REED.. please email me at [email protected] so i can send this disc to you from the install... i did both.. video install peice by peice including how to make sure you have the rigt seal, & also i did pic by pic on the close up shots that needed it due to troublesome lining up the rubber gaskets.. but the way i did it made it easy, quik, and was done with that part within 15 minutes. had to wait for sealent to dry..

lol, thanx brother heavy.... I got it back just in time.. I had a TB sensor go out, bad oil sensor, and low voltage to pCM.. shut me down dead day before yesterday.. got back yesterday afternoon, in time to finish up a few things... I going to put my show coil pack covers back on, the ones i bought from Stealth & modified... since heads are slightly wider, the vette ones bareky fit right.. I had extra set, heatgunned them to bottome of GTO ones.. use that for mounting.. drilled holes into top in order to sit in Billet Brushed italic writing SuperCharged on the covers.. witht the LS6 new logo under that.. looks awesome in my eyes.. as soon as i get those on, tomorrow morning, i will post them.. they look so much more bitchin, due to the grey in the gto covers, matches the brushed billet & other colors that are similiar...

Thanx for the comp brother!

Latr blitzer ;)
Very nice. :)

I was thinking with all the work Blitzer put into his V, maybe his FRCs should read Blitzer :highfive:
I apologize for having Z06 FRCs on MY CTS-V, but it is MY Caddy. But my Z06 appreciates your concern
Of course my Lightning has a problem with these Cadillacs with blowers. Would all you Maggie users stop trying to be a pick-up truck :rant2:

anything but corvette. its not a corvette. its like putting a gto badge on a v. gay:thepan:
G
yeah and no one put nos on your car because it has been out for ever and it is only for old muscle cars. right. putz
Is that "putz" for me or all forum members with Z06 covers? If it's just for me, thank you :crybaby:
Blitzer: you turkey!! I thought I was done with mods, but now I gotta get me some of that all of a sudden... :D

Regarding not putting Z06 FRCs on a Z06 engine in a V: right on, brother! I'm pulling mine off today! In fact, suddenly the whole idea of having a Z06 engine in my V offends me... So this weekend I'm going to pull it out and replace it with a 200 HP Caddy V-8 from a 1990 Allante. Then I'll feel pure!

Gay, indeed. Get over it!

agreed

1meanv....you frequently mention how much $ you spend on your car. why not pony up a small fraction of that and support this place?

was thinking of it. lol
yeah 1meanv, you always following me around with something negative to say about my post constantly.. so pay for it, i do.. then maybe with you giving a few dollars to help out sal,& all the other mods & there hardwork they have put into the FAQ to help ua all..
I Will lose those covers when i get damn ready. The Vette motor deserves all the credit to how fast our V is. Until i get my other covers finished, i will put them on. They are also off our cousin the GTO covers which our bigger, so since my enegine is different, if you llook closley at the covers i have own there now, they had to be modded.. they are not even on how they should be due to size. If there was alot more choices out there for covers i imagine alot of us would make a change.
BUT THANX TO STEALTHV, who made those custom vette covers to fit the maggie, maybe you should tell stealth to quit selling them as well. lol i know he would appreceate your concern. but anyway, thanx for the compliments on the cai guys, volant deserves all the credit.. they still need a little work so they will fit right, they are slightlty off, but thats ok, i have sent my old stock intake & box to them so this way they have a standard to go by, so it will fit perfectly for all that buys one. it is made very well, and it will be ready soon.. please give them a little time, ok mean? just a little time.

later blitzer
