Well, a sad day and a last post for me regarding my '92 Seville - has the heads pulled last week and I'm very sad to say the gaskets were fine and the heads passed pressure testing with no issues - which given the symptoms can only point to one thing - a cracked block.

A rebuilt engine would set me back more than the Seville is worth - even though she's in wonderful condition, so I'm not going to fix her.

However, she's not headed to the big caddy dealer in the sky - a local mechanic has purchased her from me and will be installing an engine "when he gets around to it" - so it'll be purring down the highway once again - just not with me at the wheel.

Best of luck to the rest of ya'all - may your journey be without incident or head gasket failure!
