I've got a 2008 with the nav system and have a question on the display of artists and song titles. It seems when listening to XM stations the artist and song title display are limited on the readout to approx. 15 characters per line but on FM I get the full space available per line on the screen. Is this an XM thing or a CTS thing ?? By the way this is with the screen down.

I believe it's an XM thing. Mine does exactly the same. I also get full display of title/artist using HDD.

I think it's from XM. Last I heard, Audi has the same problem in their new system. Anything beats the 8 characters I get in the STS though, which requires you to press info every time.
