i wonder how many V's have to be destroyed before the resale value starts to go up..

my guess is at least 5,000.. there was 5,969 made in 04 and 05 alone.. Whats the total # of V's produced? anyone know.. the FAQ doesnt

all but 5. In other words, the value will never go up. mod away
My kids first car will be slow as FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK and not at all cool. Having a minivan as my first car taught me how to appreciate it once I got nicer cars.

I don't care who you are. Everybody drives like a total dumbass the first few years they have a license.

I had a minivan too as my first car, Cherry red dodge caravan, after that while still in high school, i picked up a beat to $hit Police spec p71 Crown Vic with a monkey bar spot light and dog dish hubcaps... i would scare the $hit out of anyone throwing a house party when i rolled up in that. i kinda wish i still had it as a Daily driver..
Pretty funny thread :histeric:

I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm going to buy my son/daughter a POS when I get around to having kids, but for sure not something like a V. Most likely a nice, used, econobox of some sort that they'll learn to appreciate. I started restoring an old 1964 1/2 Mustang 289 with my father when I was 15 and ended up finishing it a few days before I got my license at age 17. All that time, money, and obviously the blood, sweat, and tears that go into restoring a car make you appreciate a car quick, that's for DAMN sure...especially at a young age :yup:

Quality time spent with pops too.
Make them buy their own shit.
