I know I am probally beating a dead horse :horse: but here goes ...

I thing everyone of US should again collectively let GM know of our discust with our local dealers and their service departments.

Even with the TSB and other GM information given them all the service advisors, and techs seem to have either limited intellegence or ability to treat us with the respect we who keep their income coming in deserves.

It is a sad time in our world when "customer service" means we the customer must service them.

One of my biggest complaint is when phone calls are not returned.

My VOTE is going to be with my $$$$ and not even allowing them to do warranty work any more.

There won't be many complaints (if any) from those of us in the Northern Virginia area......I even take my Chevy Suburban to Lindsay Cadillac for service/repair work. It suddenly feels like an Escalade.......

I wish there were good dealers out there. I actually don't understand why. I used to think my dealer, Don Mackey Cadillac in Tucson, was great, but lately they have been extremely bad. I don't even know how to take my warranty issues to the next level. I almost never get a phone call returned or even a call when my car is done with service! GM, you need to address this asap. Customer service is what creates return buyers. Even though I love my CTS-V, I honestly will never buy another Cadillac, or even General Motors, vehicle again. And I am 22. I have many vehicles to purchase in my future (hint hint).

*steps off soap box*

I'm with YOU!!! I've had 24 issues to date with 2 V's and I could've taken every single one of them nearly in stride had it not been for the treatment I received from Colonial Cadillac.

(created a new paragraph so these dealers would not be mentioned in the same breath with the above)

Duke, Lindsay and Moore do it right and treat their customers and enthusiasts accordingly. Car for car, deal for deal I'd spend a few hundred dollars more to do business with a dealer I trust. Wow, did you read that? What a concept. Customers will actually pay more for service. Imagine that.

Say, IMHO, there are good dealers, and there are not-so-good dealers, just a lot of things (e.g. women, men, companies, governments, etc.) ... just like cvp33 says. The dealer I bought my V from was/is terrible, and the one I go to now is great! Just lawn services, just plumbers, just like congressmen, just like ... well, you get the picture.

We have all been there. I wanted to get the first V badley at Miller Cadillac in Maryland. I knew the sales manager, great guy. I hawked them for 3 months before that car came out. I agreed to pay sticker. When they got the Vin number I had a deposit ready. As they were only getting one, THE OWNER, decided to put it out for bid. That failed. He then gauged another guy for 5 k over sticker. My buddy was damn mad. OK, I buy mine at Chesapeake for sticker, no hassles, no personality either. As Miller is closer to me I bring'er in for 5 repair items. Dealer calls me to pick up. They didnt fix one of the 5 items...Last time there. Went to Lindsay, no questions, fixed everything. Luckily, there are alternatives worth driving the distance for.:stirpot:

I haven't had dealer problems and I've had my V at the local Caddy and Chevy dealers.

I had my clutch replaced and they ended up ordering a new clutch just based on me telling them I had the problem in the TSB, even though the TSB itself said they were supposed to pull the clutch and get a serial number first. Thanks to this site I did have the exact TSB to show them:)
