I was planning on going to this event, but decided not to as it seemed like it wasn't going to be that good.... guess I was wrong - big time. Ah well, always next year.

I saw this posted on GA Trailriders. Only one Hitmoney I know... sure enough :) I remember when he got the JK too. The music is by his brothers band, pretty cool.

Screw the Jeeps, props to the guy who showed up in the deuce and a half!

I always wondered what happened to him. His Caddy was amazing. He put it up for sale on the site, just to see what the market would bring him, so he said, and then he kinda faded away.

Deuce and a halfs are really cool, but the novelty sorta wore off for me since I see them nearly everyday at work.

Besides, the TJ is much more practical, goes over 50mph and gets 3x the fuel mileage - 15-20mpg ;-)

HA!

Yup thats me and my rig I've sp[ent the last year building. :bonkers:

Jeeps have pretty much taken over my life.. I have 2 of them now.. a silver 07 2 door X JK and the black 08 Rubicon Unlimited affectionetly called RubiKong now.

I still have my sled as well as well as my Mustang. :cool2:

I love my Sled and I drive it 3 or 4 times a week.. its getting a lil long in the tooth age wise but just can't seem to bring myself to part with it.

Anyway, if you remember I was going to get an 09 V but I sensed the downturn in the economy and decided not too. But living in SoFl with the hurricanes and all, I've always wanted a "Bug Out" vehicle... I was stuck down here for Wilma with only the sled. A lowered Deville is not the the vehicle you want in a hurricane.

One day I passed by a Jeep dealer and saw a used silver 2 door Jeep with black wheels.. I went in and next thing ya know I owned a Jeep. I went on a trip with it the next weekend to Tampa with 2 buddies riding along. I quickly found out that the 2 door was too small. The very next week I bought a brand new 08 Rubicon. It was instant love. I coudlnt give up the 2 door.. I liked it too much and it turned into my DD.

The Rubicon and I took a journey to a place we all know well... Mod Hell.
So much for saving money not buying a V. I got every bit as much $$ into this as a brand new V.

Dana 60 axles, complete Off Road Evolution EVO Armor, 40inch Mud Grapplers, Red Rock Fab front and rear bumpers.. blah blah blah.. the list is endless.

What I like most about my Jeep.. The community. I love get togethers like the Cadillac ones we had.. but with Jeeps its all the time with huge turn outs. when you own a Jeep, you join a pretty close knit community and i lie that the most... So much so I help run one of the largest Jeep JK specific sites out there.. www.JKOwners.com and that occupies almost all my online time.

I still love my Sled.. always will.. Cadillac is in my blood.. but my Jeeps are more fun. ;)

I still come here to look stuff up, and i apologize for not saying hi sooner. I hope all of you are doing well and making through these rough times with minimal impact.

Until next time.. take care... I can always be reached via PM here... on my cardomain which has both my Jeep and Sled.. http://www.cardomain.com/id/HITMONEY

Thats a frickin sweet looking Jeep! I also had never really realized what the whole Jeep thing was about until I found a YJ that fit the bill for what Dad had been looking for.....still love taking that thing out for a spin every time I'm home. I have to admit I'm envious of your garage.....the sled is awesome, the Jeep looks amazing....someday I hope to have that much stuff to  over
