Has anyone seen smoked or tinted taillights for the CTS. There are companies that make them for motorcycles (they use LED's to turn them red when they are functioning), anyone seen this? Thanks in advance

or you can use that one spray on tint. i think VaderBob has worked with it before.
NiteShades is a transparent paint tint. The trick is very light coats as this stuff runs easily. Have a rag and some paint thinner as your mistake can be easily removed. Let it set and you're in trouble.

I alway thought the back up lights had to much bling. I smoked them lightly.

i was waitin for someone to finally post about this....i was looking for a film but no tint companys does this, im kind of iffy about spraying on the taillights. is there any other options for this?
Stage 2: You don't want to tint the center of your brake light. That's not safe. You start darker at the edges and it get thinner towards the center.
That way you don't compromise the brake lights. The same applies to the headlights. Tint film doesn't give you this ability. NightShades does.

yeah i understand...but i dont think i can trust myself, im only 18. id be pretty pissed ruining my caddy just by trying to smoke my taillights.

thanks for the responses though
Remember..a cloth with paint thinner removes it. Don't you like a DIY challenge? Go for it..light coats. the film sucks!!

22Cadillac22: you can practise on something else before applying it on your tail lights. Indeed you have to spray only a thin layer of coating. If you want it darker you just spray it again. Take the light assy's out for the best result.

Don't use too much thinner

Just dampen a rag with thinner and wipe it off before it sets.:)
