My friend was so happy the day I sold my Mustang and bought my STS. He allways used to bug me that I should grow up and get a normal car. The day I finally picked up the STS his true intentions came out. He really started bugging me that he finally has a car that can beat me. Well two weeks went by and I finally get beside him at the lights and he starts to smile at me. The light goes green and we launch, we stay together half way through the intersection than the STS really starts to pull on him. I finally let off when i had about 6 car lengths on him. I pull in to a coffee shop and my buddy pulls in behind me. He starts cursing at me but laughing, telling me that I still dont got a car that beats you but he buys me a coffee:burn:

He is now looking to buy a new STS.

Heh cool story. Little did he know an STS is just about as fast as any stock SN95 Mustang. How did he think a 3.2 would beat a Northstar, honestly.
Well he should have known me better, if the car doesnt have any balls I wont buy it!

LOL, I test drove both the type r and the regular 3.2 Tl and I couldn't tell a difference. (allthough I should say I had 4 people in the type r and 2 in the regular one) Both feel slow as hell, and scream like crazy at wot. I'm sure theyre quicker then they feel, but still. Really makes you appreciate the torque of a v8. The exhaust note is crappy too, not much different then a 4 cylinder. My dads 3.0 minivan sound better in my opinion. The only thing I like about acuras are the ergonomics.
