Ok ive check around and read alot thoughtout the forum but i still not sure how to go about doing this. Some say turn off the TC via the button hit the ebrake and floor it but this only causes the car to start in 2nd and pull the car. Ive herd if you pull the abs fuse it turns off the TC and gives you 1st but only on cars without OBD-2 cars. Im tired of my friends with there lil ricers burnin out and sayin my caddy dont have enough balls to do it. Id like to pull it off once and soon before my powertrain warrenty expires on the car in the event the car drops the tranny. I kno this is stupid i kno its a caddy and not designed to do this so please dont rub it in just help PLEASE!!!

Tell them you have more torque than they could dream of. You don't waste time spinning tires, your ETC grabs the road and goes, showing off the back side. They'll see the back side so much, they will forget what the front of the car looks like.

I don't even turn off traction control. When I want to fool around and spin tires (mostly on a back road, just because my 9 yr. old likes when I do it), I just put my foot on the brake pedal and bring the rpms up to about 2000. When the rpms are up, I let off the brake and asquealing I go. I think as long as both wheels are spinning, traction control isn't kicking in. The pcm thinks the car is moving. Now if one wheel slips and the other doesn't or not at the same rate, then traction would kick in.

I'm very serious when I ask this. Why did you buy an Eldorado? It seems like you wan't a car to mod and f' aroud in. I think you may be better suited in a muscle car rather than a high hp luxo-coupe like the Eldorado.
The Eldorado will blow the doors off most of these sport tunners while being a very quiet, refined, luxurious ride. Also tires up in smoke does not equal fast. You could light the tires in an 80hp Sentra but that doesn't mean it's going to go.

Okay, so you like the looks of the 'Llac.
Have you tried putting the car in gear (so that the car is already in 1st), holding the brake, turning off TC, and giving it gas while holding the brake just enough to hold the back tires?

On an OBDI car there is a PCM override accessable through the DIC to turn off TC for 11 ignition cycles. IIRC on an OBDII (96+) car you'll have to pull the ABS fuse to get 1st gear starts with TC off.

I herd that that only causes you ABS and Traction Control Lights to stay on even after you put the fuse back in you still dont get 1st gear are your sure thatll work it if you are pretty sure it will ill pull the fuse and try it. Its a real biotch to go in to the comp and clear all those codes to get those lights out afterwards

Sorry man... SOMEBODY'S gotta say something. Despite the popular belief to the contrary, there truly ARE stupid questions. This post DESERVES general flaming.:gun2:
doesnt work the computer forces the car into 2nd even though it says its stuck in 1st
Obviously, the car is smarter than you. Sell the Caddy and go buy a rice-rocket. The Eldo is for grown-ups and it's too much for you. Try to pick up a book on Grammar and Style while you're at it.
