my rear passenger heated seats quit working...
where is the fuse that would control this circuit? i'm thinking it might be that. the light come on on the button, though.

Yep. Search on it and you'll find out how others have fixed them.
Has anyone moved a real seat element to the front? I forgot we had them in back!
My drivers seat element crapped out, the relay is fine, and I'm not motivated to buy a new element, but would be happy to pull one from the back seat.
Bad karma to steal the one from the front passenger seat!
