asking one more time for help ! somebody with a catera...opel...vaxhaul..knows the answer to my plight. replaced the heater control valve on my 2000 catera, did this without removing upper plenum
just removed wiper cowl.the problem is i pulled the heater control vacuum
line out of it's source.can any body tell me where this vacuum source is ?
i see , or feel no home.......a technical drawing or written word location
would get this motor car back on the road.
thanking you for any help in advance:worship:

One end goes into the top of the valve with a 45deg rubber attachment, the other disappears through the bulkhead somewhere around the righthand side of the HVAC display unit in the car (as you sit in the car), i.e to the left of the glove box. (that would be about 3-4" below and to the left of the heater control valve) (This is on a 97).
You may be lucky and be able to push the line back into the hole through the bulkhead.

The only other mentions of vacuum pipes I can find are ones on or near the actuator module (air distribution module) behind the dash - "connect the vacuum line at the cowl"
