I would try to test drive each one of your picks. I have an 06 STS-V and it is a great cruiser, comfy and on the quiet side. HWY MPG's are around 21 to 23. no problems with mine but it only has 30K miles and it is listed in the classifieds here for sale.

I also have a 2014 CTS V-Sport and it has been a great all around performer and no problems. HWY MPG's are from 27 to over 30. Just got back from a road-trip and got 28.4 mpg and that was having some fun too on the twistys. More nimble and lighter than my STS-V and more modern good on a track too.

CTS-V would be the fastest, but of course cost more. Go for test drives

I bought my STS V with 100K a few weeks before Stephen listed his V ): . I'd jump on that one, 30K miles! Hopefully you live far from him and it will be a road trip home. My STS V is a fantastic car, makes me smile every time I take it out! Repairs can be $$$, stay away from the Stealer! Find a shop that gives a shit to work on it. But 30K, throw on the stage 2 duct and you'll be good to go.

I can't speak to the CTS-V Sport, but I will say, a lot depends on your desires. Yes, driving them is paramount. One thing you're also asking is chosing between a coupe and a sedan. So that's a little confusing from the get go...

If you're into more of a "hot-rod" and want to modify things, the CTS-V is unquestionably the king in this capacity. If you want something a little more "mature", the STS-V may be your choice. Also keep in mind, these things (STS-V's) are getting older and are going to be more prone to issues and parts aren't as easy to come by. Being a Supercharged N*, yea, you're gonna be planning maintenance/work on them a little more... The CTS-V is newer and using a GM small block V8, parts are going to be more readily and easily available.

That’s more like an answer I was looking for I a more mature look so I’m crossing the cts v coupe off my list and the sts v is getting old like you said, hand built engine so now I’m trying to decide if I want the cts v sport or the ats v coupe which one is more of a mature ride

The ATS is going to be much smaller of a car than the last gen CTS or the previous STS. So if space is paramount...

Also many people have had mediocre reviews of the interior of the ATS.
