I am looking to upgrade my shifter to a short throw shifter and need to know which brand is the better performer UUC or Katech? Thanks!-M

I haven't tried the Katech...but I can tell you 99% of the guys here think UUC is the best! Do a search!

I have the UUC and love it. It's well worth the extra money!!!! There are tons of threads discussing the samething, just do a search.

I'd have to agree. I have the B&M now and there is some noise and vibration. I'm going to see if I can alleviate that today. Anyone have any ideas?

Get dynomat, pull out the foam piece, line the area underneath it with the dynomat, then wrap a piece around the shaft from the bottom up as high as possible. NO NOISE

I have B&M and love it compared to the OEM shifter. Based upon sharky1's experience (he knows both B&M and UUC), I may go UUC in future. You can't go wrong, you can only go right or more right!

I too have the B&M. It's less expensive, easy to install and most importantly provides a short, crisp shift.

Its really going to be your decision, I don't think that you can make a wrong choice here.
