Spray the lines with soapy water while the compressor is running, bubbles indicate a leak.

Less likely but possible, the compressor is leaking or no longer able to provide sufficient pressure.

=======================
start by checking for Diagnostic Trouble Codes -
if you don't know how - go here and read the ENTIRE post -

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-deville-1985-2005-including-1985/138257-how-pull-codes-dtcs.html

if you have any codes - post them here -
ALONG WITH THEIR DEFINITIONS -

----------------------

we are looking for an EXHAUST SOLENOID related code -

if no codes -

withn the compressor running -
remove the airline from one of the shocks -
hold your thumb over the end to determine that you do have air under pressure -

if OK - plug the line back in -
and as MC suggested -
spray soapy water on the lines and watch for bubbles -

What shocks did you install?
Did you connect the pressure line correctly including the retainer?

On my rear shocks there are also tiny o-rings on the ends of the lines where they fit into the shocks
