I recently purchased a 2005 XLR with 20800 miles. The front shocks need replacement.can I sub 2009 shocks for the 2005's ? At 1/3 the price ?

I dont know about at a 1/3 the price. fronts are available for about 400 each new for the 04-06 . for the 08/09 they are about 475 each and most likely would work but may not as the module changed as did the valving.
