Anyone ship their car away to a shop to get the results they want? My car went from Florida to Michigan. How often do people do this? How many people on this forum done this? Getting forged internals JE digital pistons, rods, neutral balancers, AMI super damper, balancing the crank, zfr bigger turbo 7126, tune.

Car already has cold air intake, intercooler, larger TB, cams, valve springs, full exhaust, down pipe, tune. Sold the BW zfr 5768 turbo.

I've shipped a car before, but not for any purpose beyond an A-B trip.
Good luck on your project - Can't wait to see results posted!

Damn that's an overhaul and a half lol. Hope it all goes smoothly and if not they work with you well to get any issues resolved.

Only thing I've ever considered shipping a car for is when purchasing. As long as the truck arrives at ZZP during operating hours it should be fine. I guess something to think about is who is unloading your car, if you want insurance to cover that or anything else while the car is in someone else's hands, etc. Just thinking out loud here.

I bought my ATS from a dealer in Seattle and had it shipped to my home in RI. Although there are a lot of horror stories out there, everything went very well in my situation. If I remember correctly, that whole industry has a very loose definition of "insurance." One piece of advice, don't put your information on ANY website that says they'll give you a shipping quote. For at least a week, I was getting dozens and dozens of phone calls, text messages, and emails from every shipping broker in the country. Yeah, I contacted a few of them, but, for the most part, they're all the same with very similar prices and the trucks and drivers themselves work for anybody and everybody, so it's not like one broker has better trucks and drivers than another. A couple of more minutes google-ing would have saved my phone from blowing up for a week straight, is all.

Nice man I tried messaging you back but it says you dont receive private messages Haha

My response is: Wow man ya I'm hoping for good numbers for you! That's alot of dough! I think all together I've spent about 5k. Hope you get the numbers your looking for. Really cant wait to see how that 7163 acts for you! Def let me know what the numbers look like. We can compare setups, dynos, and tunes when you're all done!

Im going to be doing headgasket this weekend hopefully finishing as well. Then will be back on the road.

I have gps on the car, and I was very detailed to the driver about hours of operation. They sent me pics and zzp emailed me that everything looks fine. Plus I gave a generous tip to the driver. As many zzp supporters they are( I have no doubt in their abilities) if something breaks or goes wrong ( that’s on me) I signed the paperwork. We want our cars fast, nothing a guarantee, but let’s face it, they be out of business if that was the case, my experience in the last 11 months with zzperformance parts from them and 200 emails I trust them completely and make quality parts.

Thank you all and I be happy to show my results that zzp made possible. Or you won’t hear from me again. Lol!!!

2 weeks. Before 6000 now 10000= $16000 total.

FYI: I didn’t plan on putting this much money in my car. Two things happened. First stage one wasn’t enough, then I went to fare with the tune, putting out to much hp out. Who is going to reduce the hp power ( not this guy) I said **** it let do it, Internals are a must. So that’s why, plus I love my car and it’s cool. From the interior to exterior. It’s a beautiful car. Makes me happy.

Thank you all positive feedback.

Anyone can email me [email protected]

I check the setting for thoughts that want to exchange information.
