Shifter knobs

1020 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Ziplicon Tuesday
Guys, I have about 6 shifter knobs left. They cost me $130 ea to make. I will sell them for $100 shipped. They are billet aluminum with the identical metal finish as used on the door handles. Pics on the FAQ. These are the last of the Mohicans, I will not be making any more. Any interest, let me know.

Lasstss - I've got some interest but can't find the pics in the FAQ. Can you direct me?

Thanks
Lasstss,
Thought I posted but don't see it so this may come through twice. Anyway, I'm interested in the knobs - where is it on the FAQ?
Lasstss,

Nevermind - found the pics. Do you have any with the rubber grip? How about installation instructions (realizing it can't be too difficult).

Not sure I like the round shape versus the stock - but like the fact they are custom and rare.
747 - they are in the FAQ under www.***********. Click on images under CTSV and then scroll down to Lasstss page.

What do you think of them? Not sure I'm up for the globe but they look like nice quality pieces.

It is a 2.0" diameter ball/shaft. Its held fast with a set screw and a bit of silicone. The fit is toleranced. Kind of old school but the shape works nice in hand.
Lasstss,

To follow up - I think I'll hold off on the shifter knob - nice piece, just too retro for my tastes. Interestingly though, I saw in Motor Trend that the Ford GT has a near identical shift knob.....the Viper was similar as well - one retro, one not.

If you end up making some with a similar shape as the stock one, please advise.
