Hey! Ive been the owner of a 2002 Cadillac Seville for a little over a year now and the motor mounts have been getting increasingly worse (clunking and what not). Ive done some research on new mounts but cant find anything regarding the Seville. Just wondering how many mounts I need? Is it the same or similar to the Deville?
any info helps!

Front center mount is a common problem and covered in great detail in here, Deville, and Engines Northstar.

In link in Post 2 on parts, it says fitment code option. On option tag on your vehicle will show the build code installed on your vehicle. Match that with part you're wanting in the link in post 2.
I broke parts down to STS in this link. It shows part numbers you need so you can do a search with those numbers to try and find online hopefully when parts are discontinued as shown.

With prejudice - the F55 MRC. It's quicker, more adaptable, infinitely variable in its control rates. The system has gone on to become the active suspension control for many other vehicles and equipments worldwide.

CVRSS (Constantly Variable Road Sensing Suspension) used a system of sensors to adjust suspension damping by changing to one of two fixed orifice sizes in the struts/shocks which altered fluid flow rates during maneuvering events. MRC (Magnetic Ride Control) uses a fixed orifice in the strut/shock piston that is surrounded by a powerful electromagnet. The fluid is a mixture of molecular iron and hydraulic oil which, as it passes through the ever-changing magnetic field, can go from a 10W oil to thick paste in less than .001 second, thus drastically altering damping rates. The MRC system is fed by over a dozen sensors that constantly monitor and adjust suspension controls in real time.

The several suspension control systems are mutually exclusive and non-interchangeable.

there are 4 mounts -
TWO - ENGINE mounts and TWO - TRANS mounts -

99.999% of the time the two side mounts are OK -
99% of the time the CENTER REAR mount is also OK -
99.999% of the time the CENTER FRONT mount is the bad one -

TECHNICALLY - it is called the LEFT TRANSMISSION mount -

the price range is nothing short of staggering!
I have found that the ANCHOR 3083 is a high quality part at a much better price -
the best deal I found was $27.02 - including shipping - Wholesaler Closeout -

$31 - with free shipping on ebay -

$40 with free shipping from amazon

Several members have fabricated their own version of the discontinued Eldorado dogbones. About 10 years ago, several threads in Seville and Deville.

Yes, the front cross-brace is plenty strong - the Eldorado uses it for its dogbone mounts. Max torque of 300 pounds at WOT - and you can lift the entire front of the car with it.

Some dogbone parts in the 2000 - 2002 Eldorado sections of www.gmpartsgiant.com or www.gmpartsdirect.com - but not a direct fir for Seville.
