With prejudice -
the F55 MRC. It's quicker, more adaptable, infinitely variable in its control rates. The system has gone on to become
the active suspension control for many other vehicles and equipments worldwide.
CVRSS (Constantly Variable Road Sensing Suspension) used a system of sensors to adjust suspension damping by changing to one of two fixed orifice sizes in the struts/shocks which altered fluid flow rates during maneuvering events. MRC (Magnetic Ride Control) uses a fixed orifice in the strut/shock piston that is surrounded by a powerful electromagnet. The fluid is a mixture of molecular iron and hydraulic oil which, as it passes through the ever-changing magnetic field, can go from a 10W oil to thick paste in less than .001 second, thus drastically altering damping rates. The MRC system is fed by over a dozen sensors that constantly monitor and adjust suspension controls in real time.
The several suspension control systems are mutually exclusive and
non-interchangeable.
