Hey have a 05 Escalade, which I bought used about a month ago. Yesterday I got a message "service stability system" or something to that effect, and the brake, anti lock light and traction control light are on but here is the strange part the windshield wipers also stopped working. If I put the key to just the accessories position the wipers work but then went I start the car after it runs the checks the lights and messages come back and the wipers don"t work. Would seem to be a short or a sensor problem but I looked under the dash and did not see any obvious lose, damaged or unplugged wires.

Any idea? Thought I saw a post some where about the 1st chassis ground maybe being corroded but can't find any indication of where that might be. Also saw something about steering wheel position sensor. Is there someway to test that by code reader?

Any help you could give would be appreciatory,

take it to the dealer the tech 2 is the only way to see your brake, anti lock and traction control lights are on and might be able to help on the wipers but i would check all of the grounds on the truck for the affected systems and see if it is just a bad ground start at the battery and go form there i had issues with the alternator gauge fluctuating it would go up to normal when i pushed on the gas pedal then drop down around 9 volts or less when i got my lade come to find out it was a bad ground and the battery post needed cleaning fixed my problem and ain't had it since
