While making a left turn this afternoon I heard a noise sounding like I ran over something in the road only there was nothing in the road. After a while I noticed my 1996 Deville seemed to be idling kind of rough and the temperture guage began climbing. I was able to pull into a service station after a short while. I was checking under the car and noticed what seemed to be a heavy duty extension cord with a connector without the prongs laying on the ground. This was located almost midway between the front wheels. A guy said it was a vacuum hose and wanted to reconnect it. I declined and called my son who was able to reconnect it. I was just able to get the car home. I did find a hose under the box where the radiator is filled leaking water. My Question is what was the cord thing that popped lose and what is its relationship to the Service Ride Control Error I'm now getting? Also What needs to be done to correct the problem, cost? The car seems to drag on the right side now. Thanks!
