Where did you find that? I couldn't find it in my FSM.Krashed989 said:P2096 - Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Low Limit
Thats what the code means anyway.
Krashed989 - unfortunately it doesn't work that way. PZ codes do not translate to P codes. The 1996 OBD-II systems didn't use the standard codes yet. That didn't start until 1997. I haven't found the pattern in how they map to P, B, C, and U codes yet, but I can tell you that P2096 is not the correct translation for PZ2096. In the case of the symptoms EB is having, I would assume it translates to U2096, but Anthony Haukap's site doesn't list anything between U2050 and U2100. It may be in the FSM. Maybe someone can look that up and report what it means.Krashed989 said:P2096 - Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Low Limit

To answer my own question, there is a U1096 code that means Loss of Communications with IPC. From the symptoms EB described, that could be it.mcowden said:Krashed989 - unfortunately it doesn't work that way. PZ codes do not translate to P codes.
