Hello,

I’m getting an error on my dash that states “Service Electrical Sys” and then “Service Charging Sys”. I’ve since replaced the old battery for a new battery, I’ve paid for a rebuilt ECM, purchased an OEM alternator, and the errors still pop up. Can anyone point me in the next direction?

Car specs:
2003 CTS Luxury/Sport
207877 miles
everything was all original until the recent changes.

Sorry to hear of the troubles. I would suggest checking all related electrical lines for: 1. Open (broken wire or connection) 2. Short to ground 3. Short to power 4. All major grounds. Also some of these wires are 5 volt and/or data wires so if you check them with the wrong VOM you can do expensive damage. If you do not know what a VOM is better let someone else who has experience do it. Good Luck
