Semi Truck Air Horns?

i think it depends on what state

i think it would be funny as hell if you get the thing you pull when you use your horn

I had em on my truck before I sold it and I never had any problems. Inspection wise, I think you would possibly have a problem, but I'm not sure. I left my factory horn working and put the air horns on a switch, so I can't tell you for sure if it would pass with a huge ass airhorn blowing at the inspection station.

They are absolutely great when someone cuts you off.

I had 137 dB air horns on my Lade before I sold it. We don't have the burden of scheduled inspections in Arkansas though. I always thought the factory horn was too quiet. I considered the air horns a "safety" add on.

I seen one with a train horn at the dealer's service station. Damn that was loud. I was standing 5ft from his SUV and I could feel the air pressure hit me.

Can this be hooked up with the alarm system? It would give a pleasant surprise to anyone trying to break in. :devil:

Good luck with that one. I am almost 100% sure that you can't have them in any state. I wouldn't even try it.

Yea, I just checked ebay for the train horns... They are small enough you can conceal them, and as long as you leave your factory horn hooked up I dont see youll have much of a problem unless youre an idiot.
