Is there a "right" hotel to stay at? I know that at one point somebody on the forum was going to try to get a place to park the V's, but never heard about hotels. Hope there's still some availability...

Law, If your looking for a hotel at this point, you might be in some trouble. I will not be there this year, but I do know they (Vegas) are pretty full up this week.

Also: the paperwork with pass I have says I'll have to prove that I work for the company that's listed on the pass, which will be hard for me to do... How 'strict' are the gatekeepers?

Depends, ask the cordinator of the company you "work" for to meet you at the gate. They tend to be ok, with that.

Im at Bally's cause its on the monorail system. The cabs at the Convo center can be an hour or two wait, but with the rail pass, 10 minutes max.

I was checking the previous threads and the Mardi Gras hotel was mentioned for parking by LV_V. I have PM'd him to find out if parking will be available.
