I have a 1993 eldorado touring coupe with the 4.6 northstar. I was given this car recently it runs like a beast other than needing the brakes bled. The guy I got it from said he put new lines on but didn't bleed the brakes. The rear passenger side brake is seized or stuck to where I can't move the car without dragging the wheel? Is there any quick solution I can do myself until I can afford to get it fixed properly? I'm not sure exactly what the problem is either.

Welcome to CF !!!

Let's move this to Seville / Eldorado - this Suspension....-..... forum is pretty dead as far as your problem goes.

If the rear pads are dragging perhaps they're incorrectly adjusted - the rear caliper pistons screw back into the caliper - you can't simply press them back in.

Or ....... the caliper slide pin bolts are rusty.

Special torques for the bracket and pin bolts ..........

Here's a drawing of a later Seville rear caliper - you get the idea.

Are you sure it's not the parking brake that has hung up?
Does the pedal release when put in gear?
