Seek/faster fast forward for long mp3s

I listen to a lot of long podcasts and I'm looking for a way to quickly jump forward. I can't seem to find a way to seek by dragging the song time indicator and fast forward only jumps 10 seconds at a time. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

The time indicator cannot be moved and the only way is to jump 10 seconds...sucks doesn't it? I was seriously shocked when I found out it wasn't a feature!
