Scam? Recognize this 2004?

Anybody recognize the 2004 Escalade in the attached? It's been offered for sale on Craig's List at a rock bottom price and I'm a bit concerned. The seller did send me the VIN and it checks out OK on CarFax, but CarFax doesn't provide the title holder's name.

Any thoughts, except TGTBT?

Thanks!

Hank

I almost hate to.... $8900
Its A SCAM. I replied to the ad liek wtf is it so cheap for . here is what I got back:

If you are interested in my car you should know that it has never been wrecked or damaged,
the car is in excellent condition. All the manuals, clear title and the original documentation come along with the car. The total price that I 'm asking for the car including shipping and insurance fees will be
$8,900.00. I am right now located in Glasgow, Scotland with my work for some time but we can work this out since the car is located in California. Because it is a large transaction we will complete the deal only through Secure Trading. If you are still interested just send me your full name and shipping address , phone number and I will open a case at Secure Trading and they will contact you with all the information about our deal.

Thank you and if you need more info's about the car feel free to contact me.

Yea, Scam. Dime a dozen on craigslist.
Total scam, I had someone trying to lease some commerical property we had on craigslist and she just happened to be from overseas in England. She was "willing" to send me money but wanted some basic personal info.. I was like this is BS!

That lade is too cheap. Move on bro, its not worth it.
Yeah its a scam! Definately! I found one like this searching the web on Yahoo auctions.
I emailed the person listed and got back the same crap and said oh the vehicles in Miami and I can meet to sell it but asked for my info. At that time I told him Hey I'm only 4 hrs away I meet you there and pay for the SUV while you have title in hand.
Anyways to make a long story short it was a scam because he would not accept cash and transaction in person whcih I insisted on because of the low price.
After a few emails he just never responded once I said cash or nothing!
Who in their right mind would not accept cash and what better then a buyer right there to inspect the vehicle.
So many people out the looking to rob someone for what they work For! Such BS
I got scammed for some wheels on EBay for 3K Believe me when I tell you I still like ebay but they really dont help you when you get in a JAM! Especially with all the millions they make.
That loser got me for 3K but one day it will catch up to him and when it does I hope it comes back for 4 times that amount.

Yep, scam, same Escalade is being advertised on Craigslist here in Denver. If someone is oversea's and wants you to send money to them, NEVER do it. It is a scam 99.9% of the time and you will have no recourse on getting your money back.
Yeah, it's a scam.

I finally e-mailed the guy and asked for his phone number and he replied that he had a buyer.

I then e-mailed him again asking him if he was scamming me. He replied with a threatening e-mail.

BTW, 99escalademan posted the exact ad that I saw.
Yeah its a scam. Same ad is posted on craigslisty on my area too. Portland Oregon.

I emailed him and told him to go F*ck himself. lol.

That's why I only bid on auctions that accepts Paypal (via credit card). If I don't get the item within 1 month. I call my credit card company to dispute the charge.
There are so many scammers out there, sometimes you cant trust anyone, but you just got to be careful.
I see and hear of these scams all the time.. Run from this
