I trust this forum to be able to provide the best insight on this topic.

What do you think the sale price of a 2005 CTS-V, silver/black, 41K, Sunroof, no mods, no major repairs needed and extremely clean should be in the Washington DC area? Dealers have several V's for sale around $29-32K.

I listed mine at $31K and got no traction.

Keep the price where it is, it's fair. Remember there's a limited market for buyer's of this type car. Try Ebay. JMHO

right on shkr! i agree. Stress the cleanliness, and perfection of paint/interior/care/maintenance with good pictures and youll get bids at that price for sure

It's all about the mileage. I sold my '05 (blk/blk w/roof) with 18k miles 3 weeks ago for $34k to a guy in Houston. Was on cars.com for 1 week.

People like to buy low mileage cars, very true.

You can sell a $3000 car with low miles in a week or two.

Selling a $30k car can take a lot longer, even months.

Dealers have such incentives that an individual cannot match. 0 down. No payment for x months, etc. Sometimes a buyer can get into a new car cheaper than a used car. Not in your case, but it happens. Tough to sell even a $20k car.

Good luck.
