Went up one size on the GS-D3's.

255-45-18

NO RUBBING.:highfive:

When new, the tires felt like a slip and slide, but after they got scrubbed in are very nice.
I ended up using around 35 lbs because the sidewalls are not as stiff as the run flats.
hey MGL,
I got some s-03's on and perfer the runflats I'll sell you mine at a good discount if you want 60 miles on tires.

I just put on a set of 255/40 BFGoodrich g-force KDW2's and am so far very pleased with how they feel. Price at tirerack was great.

I have but a few miles on my new KDW 2's, and so far I like them. They definitely LOOK awesome...funny how tires can make your car look meaner. :sneaky:
I have about 5,000 miles now on my GS-D3's and they are very good. Right mix of grip and enough better ride to feel the difference. The hard turn 'feel' is not as solid as the run-flats, so the feeling of confidence is not as strong, but I have yet to make them break out and slide and I have tried.

I run them at 35psi cold and when they get off that I notice so I regularly check it to see that they are up to 35.

Bought em at Americas Tire (CA) ..Discount Tire everywhere else... been buying all my tires there for about 15 years, Texas, Georgia, Colorado and now California.

I dont know the Bridgestones but I try to buy American.... hate to send my money to Japan. They make good stuff, but I just dont do business there.

Don't mean to make your choice more difficult, but I finally had a chance to put some decent miles on the RT-615's, and I am loving them. I can now say with certainty that the grip is definitely better than the runflats and the ride quality is also much better. I can't see any compromises with these tires.
Stick with a runflat tire. If you want max dry performance, find a good runflat tire unless you are bumping up in wheel size.
