I have a 2015 with barely 44km on it and tires need to be changed soon. I have the Continental run flats on there now. The car handles nicely and they worked good in the snow but I can't believe how much worn they already are. I am in Canada and they wanted 2k at the dealership to replace the OEM, I told them to shove it. I can find the Procontact RX SSR OEM run flats for about $1000 on tire rack but then shipping and install brings up to over $1400. I can go to Detroit and get tires at Belle or Discount but exchange rate does not give me much benefit. Bridgestone Drive Guard are either $984usd or $1150 cdn and so may as well buy close to home for warranty reasons. Just wondering what choices you make when changing tires and if the run flats are worth it. I have no spare and one time I ran over something that fell off truck in front of that put a hole and the run flat saved me but the rapid wear sucks.

There are a bunch of tire topics. Some are replacing RF tires before they wear out.
Most popular seem to be Mich AS/3 or 3+ (RF or not) and Conti DSW.

The pros and cons are obvious about RF or not. You can buy a donut spare also.

I was okay with the runflats initially, but it wasn't long before they became loud and rode worse. I never thought the handling was very good personally, I could feel the sidewall shifting under hard cornering. I keep a jack, donut spare, and a couple tools in the trunk and got a set of aftermarket wheels with Hankooks on them. So much quieter, better ride, and handling is great. And they are 19's haha, that just shows how bad RF's are.

I hated the run flats on my ATS. The ride was rough and the performance was not good either. I changed them out for normal tires about a month after getting my car and it was a major improvement, the ride and performance was what I expected the ATS to be considering all the engineering that went into the car. The first few sets I ran Mich A/S 3+ but they wore out after just 20k miles. I switched to Continental DWS and the ride was even better and they lasted much longer.

There were new Bridgestone Driveguards on my rear tires when I bought the car - I have the RWD Premium trim with the FE3 suspension and those tires could not put power down at all, also I felt they were skatey under transitions in the rain too. I'm assuming you have an AWD car, which has a less aggressive suspension tune and no issues with wheelspin, so those may work for you.
What wheel/tire size combo do you have? If you're on 17"s, at TireRack.com I'm seeing Michelin MXM4's and Pirelli C7's for near Driveguard money.

I recently replaced OEM Continental RF by Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S. Wow, what a difference! My OEM lasted only 30K miles (48K km). They did not pass PA inspection. I purchased new set via discounttiredirect.com and had them installed at a local shop. The prices better than local tire shops. It may be worth checking out.

Thanks, I have the AWD with 18" wheels. Seems like I have many choices, just depends if I want to go with Pirelli, Michelin, Hankook, Bridgestone or Yokohama. The wheels are shot as well, polished aluminum started corroding have 6 months. Service manager says he would change but suggested wait will warranty is almost done and have new wheels. I liked that idea, not service manager is not there and they don't want to change, even though I got email from them 3 years ago saying they would change. Crappy wheels, tires and CUE was changed twice, time to ditch it.

I replaced my runflats at 12000kms. They weren't too bad for ride quality, but non runflats are better.
They also had decent grip in the turns, but the biggest reason I replaced them was because of the terrible hydroplaning in the wet.
I bought used 18" wheels and tires with sensors then used the stock wheels for my winter setup.

Run flat tires usually last 30k miles as per the manufacture and it’s a hard riding tire… regular tires are my choice… I have a 2020 CT5 with the 19 inch wheels and they came with michelin run flats they have 18k miles and they ride hard…they will be going soon…
