I check my email tonight and an SCCA buddy tells me last minute that there is a public-road time-trial at Mitchel Field, by NassauColoseum, on Sunday.

I nearly crapped myself....autocross on Saturday, 1.5mile public-road time trial on Sunday. Its a bracket race, where your first and second runs need to be closest, but I don't much care about that. I'm going tomorrow to find-out about a late register and see if I can get in. The autox is not a place where the V will shine, but I've driven my Ducati on those roads before and I think it may be a prime feeding ground for the V....
